Wow, the world seems to WANT me to blog ;-) OR are you all just interested to see whats going on with this amazing girl I mentioned earlier?

Figures, the latter. Really, all you silly people!

Ok but you will now be forced to read through a quick run down of my life for the last couple of weeks till you get to the good stuff. Halloween came and went, had a party went amazingly, lots of people showed up and had a spooky old time. Been going through midterms, which honestly is the most insane time in the world... just like finals, and just life normally..... ok so I'm bloody busy! But I did have a perl program due and a ten page paper, a communications project and several midterms, does that count as busy yet? Ended up missing the Programming contest that was on Saturday, mainly because of a dentist appointment I had on Friday, had to have a filling re-worked because apparently my old dentist (one whom I had no major love for and recieved many 45 minute rants about flossing from) mucked it up big time and it was falling apart after only a couple years. Joy! Lets see what else, anything that I can force you to read till we get to the good bits yet? ACM Meeting this week, doing a presentation on securing a windows box. Truely it can be done, don't laugh and it's not REALLY all that hard, it's just not as out of the box as Linux ;-) lets see what else....

Hmmmm really I can't seem to find anything else I really want to rant about... I have a LAN Party this weekend about it.

OK, Ok, I'll get to what you REALLY want to read about.

Well, rewinding a bit back to when I last mentioned that I had met this amazing girl. Well we started talking a bit, found out that both of us had a lot of similar views and additudes towards things and hit it off. I invited her to the halloween party I was throwing and she said she would make an apperance. I was pretty pumped honestly thought it was a good sign. So we kept talking and things just sorta started falling into place and we just clicked. Halloween night came and she asked me to come pick her up, and by this point we were everything but "officially" dating. So I went to pick her up (got bad directions from the friend who set us up, I must remind him that two parralel roads only intersect at infinity) and I met a bunch of her friends and took her back to my place. The party was winding down a bit by the time she was able to come over, and a few people had headed home, there weren't many games to play and such but we did get a game of Munchkin going, and she seemed to enjoy that and we poped in "Yojng Frankenstein" and she came over and immediatly curled up with me. It was one of the most amazing feelings I've ever had. It just felt right. There were several other couples and people curled up here in the basement. It was just good and happy.

After the movie as we were heading upstairs to get her home and to see people off, we looked at each other and made it official, we were dating. And oddly enough I've worn this silly grin on my face since Halloween, wonder what caused that....

So ladies, far and wide, I'm no longer on the market I'm happy to announce. I've been horribly proven wrong (see earlier rant) and am fling on cloud 9 and very happy to be there
