We got him........

You know, for as little time that I have been alive, the world has spun and changed beyond recognition. Challenger exploded, Columbia also. We have been to the sandbox twice. The Berlin wall came a crumbling down. Russia is no longer communistic. The internet was born, the personal computer happened. Y2k came and went. 9/11 shattered the bubble in America. Saturday morning cartoons are no more. The cold war is over, the war on terrorism is just begining.

I am no longer living in the same world I was born into, no one is. But we have finally started getting the job done. I may not neccisarily agree with everything that has lead to Saddam's final capture, but it's done. The US has finally corrected one of the mistakes it has made in the past.... lets just hope they finish the job right, and honestly... I think they will.

On a completely different note..... I'm sick as a dog. I've had odd backaches all week, slept like crud all week. It's been kind of an odd cold up till today really, I haven't really FELT sick really, it's just been kinda like I'm overly tired and backaches. Then yesterday my nose finally started draining down the back of my throat which is a good sign I'm going to be laid up for a bit. The hacking up crud started soon after obviously. I now FEEL completey sick, and am still sleeping badly and all that jazz. Today I will not be leaving the house, I'm holing up till my final on monday night, working on drinking my first half gallon of water for the day (shooting for 2 - 3 gallons of water drunk by the time I go to sleep tonight) Going to work on that program for my networking term project that way I can try and get it done and over with. It doesn't need much, basically I'll get the multi-user code finished up and be done with it at that point.

Finals are this next week, going to get that done and whalah, done with yet ANOTHER semester of classes. I'm finally getting close to being done, close enough that I can ALMOST taste "reality". Though in reality I have no clue what I'm going to do when I get out. Few friends of mine are already starting to look out for me and see what they can find jobwise for me. I should be able to land on my feet somewhere, I just hope I'm happy with what I find in the "real" world.

I do have a small trip planned for right around the New Year. Going out to Ohio to a Pat & Sam's. for New Years and to see little Mark, definatly taking my camera with me ;-). Staying out there till the 1st than heading up to Chicago to see Carol for a few days. Going to end up meeting her father, two brothers and her twin brother's girl friend while I'm up there. I'm looking forward to the trip it should be fun, lots of driving but definatly going to be a good trip :-D.

Anyway a lot more going on but I am sworn to secrecy on that till latter, hopefully more info next week.
